Hey guys im here in the DFW area and almost finished with my LS1 Miata...
Here is the original build thread:
    http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=369746
    It is about 80% done!

I will be auto-X'ing this car, but the main purpose is a FUN street car!
It will make its way to a drag strip as well.
Should be a running AC/Power Steering car by October!

Thanks for posting this, as it was hard to see the pics on your phone. I look forward to seeing this at an AX. You'll have to let me co-drive it at an event!

    Welcome.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Looks great, what kit did you use? I have a project in the final stages of the build. Team MER is finishing it up. I used the V8 Roadsters kit and the V8R spec engine with a T5 trans. Mine is a race car that we will run in SCCA, NASA, and COMMA events. If I could afford two, I would have one to drive on the street, as they are a total blast to drive and get really good milage if you can control the right foot!
