You know what...I' thought about it after I posted this...talked to my wife and we just want this gone. I don't really want to charge anything for a halfway broken TV anyway. So how's about if you're interested and have a truck, it's FREE. Read the description below, it is still a good TV...

I've had this thing kicking around on craigslist for awhile, I thought it would be worth something at least for parts, but but most people are too confused and put off by the add. I'm not trying to screw anyone so i'm not going to really candy coat anything. I'm posting it here if anyone would be interested. Any detailed questions feel free to ask me.

It's a 47" Panasonic rear projection 1080i HDTV. Model number is PT-47WXC43G

The convergence ICs are blew out for the 1080I input, but the 480i input still works fine, i.e.plays DVDs and video games just fine. I haven't really messed with it much since I bought a new TV, but Non HD cable and TV should work fine as well. I'm not an electronics expert by any means, so buy at your own risk, I don't have the tools to diagnose any future problems, but as it sits it plays standard definition DVDs very well. I can plug it up to demo the TV if you're interested.

If you're electronics savy and handy with a soldering iron you can buy this repair kit and should fix the problem easily. I was planning on doing this but won't have time once school starts in a few weeks.

I figure to the right person it would be a great TV for a game room, or a kids room, and if they're an electronics expert and can fix it...even better. The Hi Def picture looked great before it blew, and the built in speaker cabinet produces great sound.

Bring a truck, it's too big to fit in most SUV's and being a rear projection laying it on it's back really throws the color guns out of whack.
