Thread: Lack of attention to detail

Default Lack of attention to detail

I was watching "The Good Guys" the other day, which is supposed to be based in Dallas. In one scene, they are in an old Firebird, driving down Elm street downtown. They are traveling west bound, as Bank of America Plaza is on the drivers side of the car and the Crowne Plaza Hotel is on the passenger side. They then cut to an interior shot of the car for some dialog, and then back to an exterior shot with more scenery. This second exterior shot shows them driving past the Majestic theater, with the theater on the passenger side of the car. This place them about 5 blocks east of the prior location, still heading westbound on Elm. WTF? Get it together guys!

LOL... the only reason I watch that show is to spot the Dallas locations and make fun of the bad "Texas" accents. Sure, it screams "low-budget" and it's pretty dumb, but it's fun to watch. Did you see Cowboy Chow in the first episode?

Honestly, the first 3 minutes of the episode above is all I have seen... It was at the end of a Lie to Me episode I had DVRed. I may check out more as I have always liked Bradley Whitford, although I am not sure I can handle him with the thick fake accent.
