Default 1.6 litre timing torque plate adapters

As another idea i'm also working on a mounting plate that you can use to keep the crankshaft
from turning during the timing belt change on 90-93 model 1.6 litre engines
My machine shop cnc man is working on the pattern . I have detailed photos of how this is used.

It mounts to the hub in back of the harmonic ballancer. 4 #10 grade 10.9 bolts are included.
The other side of the plate mounts where the pivot bolt on the A/C unit is. Just loosen and remove
this bolt and attach the plate with motor at tdc#1 cyl. Then taking out the crank bolt or installing it
is a breeze. Keeps motor locked in position during timing belt change.

They will be $10 and that includes the #10 hardware and shipping to lower 48 states.
The first run will be 12 units...

It is somewhat similar in shape and does the exact same thing basically. These are made from aluinum plate and can be used over and over
or sold when you don't need it anymore or sell the car. $10 includes everything even shipping to lower 48

They do not include the 10.9 hardware in there item as I do. I have used it and it works perfectly.

I have the Rennen plate. It works very well, but it was annoying to have to run down to the hardware store to search out just the right length bolt to hold it in place. Including hardware with yours is a GREAT idea.

I found a common source for the hardware in bulk and can be used on other attachment points on the front of the
motor like the water pump pulley, ect. The electric fan mounting bolts too! Having access to this stuff with the plate
make it a plug and play. Not, oh no I don't have to correct &*$%@ bolts. I'll be right back -gone to the store.
I checked the local autozone and they wanted almost $3.00 for 3 screws like this 1" long.
