Thread: Where do you REALLY live?

  1. #1

Default Where do you REALLY live?

I've noticed that most of our MME members either leave their location blank, or put some silly phrase there. Why not put your actual city? It doesn't give away State Secrets , and it helps us figure out good places to hold events. For example, we South Oklahoman's (aka Frisco/Plano folks) have had a few causal get togethers at the Frisco H ters. While we post these "events" on open forum -- everyone is welcome! -- its nice to know who the Frisco/Plano residents are.

Look, this is an informal open forum, and you don't have to do anything you don't want to. But
please consider putting your real City and State in the Location line of your profile. It'd be nice to know where we are all located!

    Yeah, I updated mine, too.

At some point we should do a Frisco GTG...

If you ever question whether you should spend money on your car or your house, remember: you can always live in your car, but you can't drive your house!

It's funny that it's mostly the "long-timers" who seem to be so reticent to cough up this highly secret information. Whatever boys... :)

I for one, have always had mine listed. I guess some people are just when it comes to that sort of thing.

I will not be pressured to conform to society's mandates. :P

Besides, I already know that the only one of y'all near me is POS, and why would I want to hang out with him?

My take on it is why give out too much personal information on the web... especially when it comes to photos of license plates, city information, addresses, phone numbers, etc...

It doesn't take too long for people to know where to find your house and that you are out of town for some driving event.

Is it lonely in your little world, or do the voices in your head keep you company?
