Ok so this should be coming from the NE around 12:28am 8/13, correct?


That's where Perseus will be. It will have just come completely over the horizon.

New to the subject, I've never really looked into meteor showers.

Took the miata north of Plano just after midnight and set up the camera. Amy and I watched for about 45 minutes. I took several star shots, but didn't site a single meteor. Amy spotted two. I hope some of you had better success than I did.

We went up almost to Decatur. Not the best spot because the light from Denton and the are around it still lit up the north east a little bit, but we saw 3 meteors. Sounds like it was the same everywhere.

I was out, working most of the night and saw nothing.

I saw one from my backyard last night.

I saw one in just about every Stephen Spielberg movie ever made.
