She turns 15 on Sept. 17th so she wants to get her learner's permit on the 17th. (Which will keep me away from Hallet for yet another year)

Plan see if we can get her a hardship licence as soon as possible since her school does not offer transportation to and from school.

I'm ready for the sweet kiss of fall so I can put the top down without stewing in ball soup.

I'm ready for fall as well. Thought I was going to pass out at TMS yesterday putting the street tires back on the car.

I can deal with 95 degrees indefinitely. 103-108 (with corresponding heat indexes) is just brutal.

I got my permit right after my 15th too, but was denigned the hard ship. Good luck getting one for her. If not she still gets a solid year of practice before getting her license.

Hint, just drive there on your street tires instead of driving there on street tires only to change to other street tires and back :)

This way you can change the tires back in a covered garage with a cold beer in hand instead of a hot ass paddock in the beating sun.

I hate summer. I can always put on more clothes during the winter to stay comftrable but once you get naked enough you start breaking laws and then you're still not comftrable.

I've been watching the weather over the last couple of weeks in my hometown (Thousand Oaks, CA). It's been in the mid-upper 70s. I can't even get my home that cool while the sun is up.
Oh, well I've got two sevens, and two sevens beats a frush.
