If I remember correctly, I just let mine dangle (no jokes, please).
OK. Last question. On the pax side wheelwell, where the rear backing plate goes, you must unplug a rubber hose (looks like some kind of emissions device) in order to fit the backing plate.
Once the backing plate is on, there's nowhere for the hose to go and it dangles loose. I can't seem to find any description of what to do with this thing. I can drill another small hole and plug it back into the wheel well, but don't know what size bit to use. Iain? Beuller? Any advice would be appreciated.

One more-than-last question: I seem to have a leftover wiring harness. The bar is in the car, and I have mated up all the harnesses except one. It's a 6-prong harness that seems to stretch across the parcel shelf from pax to driver's side. I believe it was affixed to the metal parcel shelf piece that you remove at the beginning of the install. I have searched high and low, but cannot find a mate for it.
Is it possible that it just doesn't have a mate? Maybe this is something that is unused on US-spec MSMs? (Wishful thinking, yes.)

Nevermind. It goes to the windblocker speakers! Doh!

yep, to the speakers...
and as I did last weekend, if you re-drill teh two mounting holes on each side, you can still retain the factory windblock with the rollbar... Just take a little finesse...
