Any one knows where in CA Hwy 1 from SA to LA that the road is at the edge of cliff at sea level and you are slow down to 15MPH and the road is cut into the cliff. I remembered it was off Hwy 1, very twisty and the road belonged to part of a park. At one point the road narrowed to 1 lane and I to had back up to let the other cars came through from the other direction. There was a resting area where there was a small general store where you get coffee etc.. When I looked out to the ocean I could see drilling platforms with their flairs in the horizon. Years ago I drove through that and it was the most beautiful road that I had driven. Last month when we made the same trip and we did see that part of the road. I only remember it was around 20 miles long and at the water edge before getting into Santa Barbara. Anyone know what/where I am talking about?
