    Default 15x7 OZ Superlegerra's with 205/50/15 Falken Ziex's

Just got them mounted to the my ratlin death trap and took them for a spin. really digging the feel of the lighter weight at the corners, but you can really feel the side walls flex on turn in and there's much less road feel or feed back or what ever the hell you want to call it. would make a superb touring tire though. quite a comfy ride. might get another set of 15's and mount the falkens on them for just that. and get another set of 40 or 45's for the superlegerra's. really wanted to get 40 or 45's this go around but couldn't find them in stock anywhere. the 50's i got were the only tires i could find out of 6 different shops. apparently no one carries go kart tires.

if i do get another set of wheels and tires for touring that will be many many months from now after i clear off my current todo list

    • swap in a new water thermo sensor (got that rough cold start issue. hoping this will fix it)
    • fix my timming issue (pretty sure it's way retarded could be wrong though, shit for power below 5K rpm and sucks fuel like none other) someone also mentioned that it could be a slipped timing belt.
    • replace 02 sensor and cat, just because i'm sure both are still original.
    • replace slipping clutch (picked up new clutch for $100 today.)
    • and new breaks, break lines, and rotors at all four corners.
    • adjustable coil over suspension

will post pics of the new wheel / tire combo tomorrow. and a big thanks to modernbeat for the hook up on the oz's. i'm pretty sure the tires weigh more than the wheels do.

    Yeah, those are touring tires.

If you want good "turn in", which is called transitional response, you'll want to get an ultra high performance tire. Look at what the SCCA autocross class STS guys are running. For the street, an inexpensive tire like the Falken Azenis rt615k is very sticky, has a VERY stiff sidewall and still has decent life. The bad part is that it's fairly noisy - but most ultra high performance tires are.

    Post pics. People LOVE photos.

you asked for pics and here they are. and i didn't get any shots with the top down but it a black interior with red seats and red center console pad.

a side question: why in hades would some one stick a special edition sticker on a car that is not a special edition?

Cause its "cool". Like the guys who run sparco and gready stickers on their cara even though they don't have anything from those companies.
