My daughter tends to like Guys that like Girls. So most of you aren't guys she would want to hang with...... Not that that is wrong or anything.

Looks to me like it's the Friday price that got jacked up. That must be for the full day though, instead of half the day like previous years. ??? I didn't check the details, the pdf wouldn't open.

For those that do not want to click the link and actually read... (I underlined the important stuff)

Miatas@Hallett will take place September 16 and 17 this year. The Miatas@Hallett Committee is really excited about the weekend because we will be offering two full days of driving at a Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. The costs have gone up for the track rental, so we have had to raise our charges accordingly. September 17 only will be $150 if paid before August 16 and $180 after that date. The full two day package (for drivers that have experience driving Hallett) will be $270 for both days before August 16 and $310 after that date. Use the link below to print the registration forms and send them to the address on the forms. You can pay by check or PayPal. If you have questions or need more information please contact Lewis Leslie at 501 993-7591 or email him at [email protected]This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Found a good deal for rooms at Hyatt Regency downtown Tulsa for $49 on groupon. If you click thru this link and buy, I can get 10 dollar referral bonus.

Ok well that referral link was worthless because it goes to their main page. Here's the deal on the hotel. Expires in about 8 hours.

    That sounds good, Nails.

If I pay NASA prices, can I have NASA TT open passing?

It's the same price as two days at NASA where you get open passing, BBQ/Burgers/Beer, and you get to watch racing all day. I LOVE MaH, don't get me wrong, but that's a lot of money for a DE. I'll still probably go, but I just paid for the june Hallett race and HHR race.

i'm in for sure. if we're running 2 full days, it would be cool to run CW one day and CCW the other day...then it will at least feel like running 2 different tracks.
    i need a better phrase...

Good point mr brg but scheduling conflicts have prevented me from participating further in TxMC or NASA at Hallett. However, I was committed to M@H since last year and will be there this September. I also emailed the hosts and they said Friday will be a full day of open track for experienced drivers only. That's about as good as it gets short of open passing.

I've heard the track is too treacherous to run clockwise rootdown_53.

Looks like We need to leave on Thursday then. Better change my hotel reservation and add Thursday night as well.

Who said that? I've run it CW and it's a lot of fun...turn 1 is insano fast and the track is something like over 1-second faster in an SM. I'd support running CCW one day.

I heard from the track owner saying CCW takes more skill, especially turn 1. For the novice group this can be too much. They had bad offs running CCW.

Maybe I'm a but it seems like there are more trees in the runoff if you're going CCW...

Screw that, turn 3-2 is the real liability, 1 pales in comparison. It's a real shame though, I'd love to change it up.
