Default TxMC round 6 results @ Eagles Canyon

well it was a beautiful weekend at Eagles Canyon Raceway. slight breeze, 83deg. on saturday, mid 70's on sunday. unfrotunately for me it started bad and went downhill from there. it all started on the way to the track, i was following sixace and a little black cat ran across the street in front of me. lol
really i had some electrical issues and a loose alt. bolt had me thinking i had damaged internals. never even got a lap at speed or a chance to learn the track.
enough of my bitchin' sixace was taking it easy but still clickin' off some good laps. hustler had an issue with a small oil leak, but managed to fix it in good time. wags and quan were running fast and trouble free except for a couple header bolts that were replaced pretty easily. the big deal was checking out matt andrews time attack winning miata. even though he didn't have any seat time there, he managed to run some fast laps in the 2 sessions he ran before retiring with a cracked rotor. matt created quite a buzz!
oh yeah, matt drove hustlers car for a session until under braking in a fast corner, the throttle cable shifted forward onto the turbo/manifold, and made the throttle get stuck wide open! he was forced to go straight off the track at high speed, luckily, he found the only section off track without giant boulders. sixace was behind matt when he went off and mentioned seeing some dukes of hazzard action! luckily neither matt or hustlers car were damaged.
    and the results:

    1st place: dan l. (sixace) 2:06.652 10pts.

    street class:
    1st place: quan p. (nceunos) 2:16.335 10pts.

    exhibition class?
    1st place: matt a. (exz3driver) 1:57.xxx 1,000 pts.

I use to worry about money; but then realized I don't HAVE anything to worry about.

What kind of power was Matt making?

I believe he said it was around 250 hp or so de-tuned...

Holy crap Matt is fast..... Way to go Dan, Jon, and Quan.

Ken I'm not sure what else he has changed, but it's got a lot of carbon fiber parts, and built engine with a turbo.

I think that In general everyone had a problem that day and that was with the crappy road suface of their was all mauled up and had washboarded braking zone everywhere(brakes were not happy with that at all). Also i did have more problems than just some missing header nuts, this past weekend the car would struggle with keeping traction while under load with an open diff and also with a slanted eye pansee Asian kid at the wheel that can barely see the world with eyes becuase of how narrow they are. Lol

More seat time is In order as well as a diff lol
