Anyone seen any pictures of the event on the interweb yet??
I personally enjoy the roadcourse and don't think it has any more dangerous aspects, when taken as a whole, than the postage stamp at HEB. Ultimately, as with people that avoid MW because they think tires should last forever, you have to decide where you want to play. Don't feel confortable, don't turn the key. Site too distant (Paris) don't run the event. Event poorly run (Annex) don't put down the $$$. Want national level courses go find a site large enough or get a timer an rent the Mineral Ring for a day and do one yourself.
Ain't this democracy thing great....

David and I actually do plan on hitting every annex event we can next year. Your right, if you want to practice for nationals you have to leave DFW and head south to Houston events or A&M events.
Obviously we are gifted in sites here in Texas Region....Kind of goes without saying.

The comments Stuart & David bring up about the Road Course event, are valid. That's the whole reason that the Road Course event isn't on the calendar before Nationals. It isn't a typical "autocross" type event. In fact in years past, there was actually a suggestion on the TX Region Solo BoD to eliminate it from the points series.
Believe me folks, suggestions do get considered & discussed at length by the BoD's!
Here ya go Sparky!

As I understand it in can carts (i.e. no tranny) you attempt to lift the rear end to spin the tires and build rpms quicker.
