I've been seeing the 'Oh Snap' screen off and on for a week or so. I usually just kill Chrome and start over. See if it's still active in your task manager processes and kill it there.
Yesterday afternoon Chrome just locked up and quit loading pages! When I finally got it closed and reopened, I got the "Oh, snap!" screen - asking if I want to start a new session or restore the old one. Neither option worked. I've tried everything I can think of, including uninstalling and reinstalling it, and nothing seems to work. When I open Chrome, it just sits there and acts like it's offline - no spinner to indicate that it's "thinking."
Anybody ever run into this?

I had to shut down and restart my computer the other day because of that.
If you're addicted to cold turkey how do you stop?
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
Are you guys on the dev channel?
I'm on version 8.0.552.0 dev and I've been seeing more and more "aw snaps" and PDFs with the built in reader seem to be crashing all over the place, keeping the chrome.exe process running, even when I close all windows. I use the task manager and kill the rogue ones and it opens back up.
The dev channel's been pretty stable for me for about a year. About this time last year, it was doing the same thing.
Believe me, I tried closing out and restarting. I tried rebooting. I uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch. Nothing seems to help. Chrome is just dead... ugh.

I'm at - 6.0.472.63
ok, so there are multiple versions with the issue.
So... any other commonalities? Are you guys seeing this with PDFs? Flash sites? Plugins (when I installed adblocker into Chrome I started getting a lot more crashes)?
Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit here.
It does seem like the probs started after I installed Adblocker too.
Adblocker, no problems here... Win 7... You guys should lay off the goat porn.

I started having problems with Firefox bogging down about a year ago so I switched to Chrome, which has been absolutely flawless until yesterday. Ugh.
