Fun event and the BMW club staff did all they could, just a mix up. I coned away my only decent run on the very last cone for 4th.

Just wanted to say I had fun at the event.

Here was my best run. Some drifto action.

Drifto action - good for rallying... perhaps not best for autocross. There were a few times where you looked like a rally driver around that pivot cone..! Definitely entertaining! However, one can literally count the time lost in wheelspin on your best run making that rally style pivot.. . In addition, a short shift up to third gear on the back straight with a few seconds of your foot planted in third likely would have served you better than banging off the rev limiter for two to three seconds... thanks for coming out, and hope to see you in 2011.

Oh... and love the camera angle from the left rear... neat seeing the cones go by!

Gotta put on a show I figure if I wasn't gonna be fast I might as well entertain :)

I'm still working on the car's setup, not too happy with the rear grip right now. Thanks for the pointer's though. I still need to get used to the auto-x mentality of driving as fast as possible for all 4 runs.

Is your car open diff? Sounds like we were having the same issues picking up one wheel going through the last sweeper before the finish.

You have to show up to win.

But if you had shown up, maybe I would have busted out the one-handed kung-fu grip like on Sunday (54.832 < 54.933) :)

OK. You beat me...with my misfiring engine. I call rematch this weekend. :)

Also, note the 54.4 and 53.7 on the 4th and 5th runs. Just because it was an "X-pro" run doesn't mean it didn't happen.
