trey turned the wheel and his hands slipped, grabbed the wheel and wipped the car to the left and drifted past nails. was about to be head to head.

Hince the reason they are telling you not to wear gloves. Unless you want to have to being a change of pants with you so you can clean up after it happens to you.

br, toy run is not a hped, they stick all the first timers at ecr in the group that you would call beginner if it was a hped. really they just put everyone in a pill the split the pile. for a ref they put gery in the "slow group" because he had never been to ecr.

hoping they changed it this year and devide groups better. don't care about slow cars or who is better. last year it took 1/2 the season to clear the traffic as people even in the "fast group" forgot the point by so it turned into open passing

This has all the markings of a huge fustercluck. 40 cars on track in each session, with a wide variety of HP and driver skills...

Last year they did lead follow with instructors to help maintain spacing, speed, and skill level. If you have the experience on the track I am sure they will place you in a group where you can run flat out.

In DFW you could track almost every weekend. If you seek open track and small groups Apex Academy is perfect for this. Instructors and plenty of space. Apex is one of the few organizations that keep the groups small to maximize your on track experience.
    M3 is always the answer.

all registered, see you guys for breakfast
I learned this the hard way.....

Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.

Last year I think I did 6 sessions and could've done 2 more if I wanted. Plenty of track time and not too much traffic. Unless they have a ton more people it should be fine.

How many people were there last year? As far as I know right now, there are 80+ people signed up.

I think if everyone remains cool and realizes that this is just a charitable driving event, we should be ok.
