I've been out of salt water tanks for a few years, but check out Saltwater Paradise in Irving. Off O'Connor north of 183.

Extremecorals.com is run by the same guy in some massive (10-15 thousand gallon) stock tanks next door and you can do pickups for web purchases.

When I was last in there, they had some beautiful exotic pieces - i was into corals and zoos, but my wife loved fish and they usually had enough stock to keep her from seeking other stores out.

I've heard good things about Plano Pets.
    ...and across the line.

Neptunes Cove(off of 15th and Independance) in Plano is supposed to be a good place as well, but a long way from Irving.

I can not remeber the name of the local aquatic forum, but a friend of mine at work told me he was able to get some live rock dirt cheap from there as well as people selling individual fish and aqariums for very reasonable prices. He had luck with a 20 gallon Nanoreef tank as well, but had to change out 10% of the water weekly. He recommended getting a larger tank, using a 10 or 20 gallon tank to make a filter bed below, for ease of maintenance.
