Install VM Fusion and you can run Win7 in a VM or Bootcamp install Win7 and access that in Fusion under Mac OS. I run my MBP like this. Works great.
I am not a big fan of the Mac OS but love the hardware of the MBP.
I have to start some iPhone/iPad development (as well as some Android too, but that's another story) in the next couple weeks, so I picked up a Macbook Air (11").
Although it's ridiculously overpriced, it's very, very neat.
I'm not a newb when it comes to small PCs. Over the last 5 years, I've had a ton of little ones. EEE 7", Dell 9", multiple Dell 10", Lenovo x61s, Alienware m11x, and XPS m1330.
I attached a picture of the 11" Air vs. the 11" m11x. The m11x is like a brick compared to this thing (but a 1/2 the cost brick). I typed a 5-6 page proposal on it this evening and the keyboard is very good. The touchpad is the best I've ever used.
I've used Macs in the past (as well as most of the other OSes that get press these days and a few obscure ones), so the switch isn't that jarring...
Work on the price a bit (the "ultimate" edition of the 11" was $1400 + tax) and you'd have a real winner Apple. That and get rid of the douchefags and the Apples store. I knew more about the store's inventory than she did, but until I got pissy with her she didn't want to actually, you know, call back and ask someone if they had what I wanted.

M3 is always the answer.
I'm trying to avoid running Windows on this guy. I have lots of other hardware for that. The only thing I will need Windows for is Sharepoint development.
Saw one in the store the other day, the weight and dimensions are impressive. We just got Jessica a 13" MBP and it's pretty nice.
