    Default Paint help

I know some of you guys are fantastic with bringing finishes back from the dead and am hoping that one of you guys can help me out.

I did something stupid...parked my bike under a tree for like 30 minutes and I am guessing sap got sap got all over it and then dust got in the sap.
Anyhow I figured I would use a fingernail and scrape off the tiny pieces of sap (I have done this in the past and not had any problems) I am guessing the bike was dirtier than I thought.
I have a bunch of pretty bad swirls/scratches in my bikes finish now and it looks like crap. It has about 15 coats or more of wax on it, and am thinkiing it might just be mainly in the wax. or clear coat
Can anything be done besides a respray?

I was thinking of trying the clay bar and see if I can get some of it out.
    Is that a bad idea?

    Thanks

    Check http://properautocare.com/index.html

I like Menzerna on a medium to light pad. Compound will vary with the level of damage. Start with the lightest and move up until the scratches are gone then back to the lightest has worked for me.

I have used a 3m system called finesse in the past. its a 3 step 'compound' type system that can clean and bring you back to a high gloss. i had a clear coat 'bubble' on my 95 after the rains a month back that finally burst ... i am headed for some new shooting squirt on the trunk..
