    Default First time caller....

Long time lurker first time poster. I picked up a 1997 5spd about a week ago. Been on here and a few of the other fourms for a while now. I dont consider myself a newb to cars, fabricating, or general hard work. However there is always a ton to learn about anything really. I do look forward to all of the great knowledge to come.

Welcome, have fun with your Miata.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

It is bone stock. a previous owner put two 18in glass packs on it. Not a fan but will do for now. It is black with black cloth interior and a black soft top. I think it is a touring package. future plans include changing exhaust, tires, suspension, little bit of chassis bracing, bushing kit, and maybe FI. What i need to do now is fix/replace the tranny and do a timing kit with water pump. Anybody wanna lend a hand?
