    Default 2004 Toyota corolla transmission

    My nephew's manual transmission in his '04 corolla just took a dump and my brother is trying to find a replacement. So far he's seen some pretty scary prices mentioned on the net to get it fixed. Prices vary between $1800 to $3500. Frankly, that's worth as much as the car. Is there any reputable place similar to Mazda/Nissan Heaven that sell used transmissions? Considering you can get Nissan and Mazda Transmissions for like $200-500, I have to believe something exists for Toyotas as well. Anyone out there got any ideas?
