I swear 59 was the best year for American car designs. I love the aiming reticles on the front corners to target pedestrians with.

Bleh. Wagon and Ford. Though I agree on the '59 comment.

How can this compete with the ElCamino?

I'll take one of each, please!
    ...in white, of course.

Thanks Chris, and your right. now I am going to get a white hardtop for the LE.

My '59 Villager is going to be Green, kinda like the new Rustang's Retro Green.
A dark green roof and trim with green flake.
Just got a good running FE and a 3sp slushbox for it.

Equivalent to the ELCO, plenty of them running around.
When was the last time you saw a SLEdsel Longroof flying down the freeway?

Reverse these colors, and shroud the lakers.
Not sure about wheels yet, but love chrome reverse with wide whites.

    Like this? :)

I had my first hard top (juxt3r's old Snug) painted Ford Wimbledon White because my paint guy had a ton leftover from painting my mom's Mustang.

Almost. Wheels, mirrors, and A Pillar look wrong to me.

Agreed. The people who do these conversions never do anything with the windshield frame and you can spot it a mile away. They always bug me, never follows thelines of what they've done.
