I had a conversation with a potential client yesterday. They somehow have a 2000 IP block that they want to keep (they aren't using it, but they used to run some sort of spam software, so they changed IPs daily on their spaminator software). Its crazy the waste of IPs.

Oh and if you are wondering "Why the sudden jump to IPv6? Why no IPv5?" IPv5, or more commonly reffered to ST or ST2 is an internet streaming protocol that's been around since the late 70's. It has since been superceded by the likes of QoS for applications such as VoIP.
