    Default rear window defogger

I recently bought a 1995 Miata -- convertible with hard top. the hard top has a rear window defogger, but there's no switch for it on the dash. how can I find out is there is wiring set up to put in a switch/button for it?

Everything should be there to connect it all together but you will have to add a few things. Here is the write up from the pointy board:

If it's pre-wired, there should be a pig-tail somewhere around the back window on the deck. I think it's on the driver's side, but not positive. The switch would be on the lower-left dash, near the cruise control main switch (if you have one). I might have a switch for sale, I'll have to check my parts box.

My '94 M Edition has a power antenna, so I did not need the fuse block. But, I did need the defroster relay and the dash switch. Both were very easy to install. The plug for the pig-tail is on the drivers side, just behind the drivers seat.

PS: If the number in your screen name is your zip code, you're a little too far away for me to come help with the install.

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Go check a junk yard, you may get lucky and find a car with the relay and dash switch. Also like has already been said, if you have a power antenna, then you already have the necessary fuse block. If not, go to a junk yard and look for a leather package car(tan interior), good chance of having the antenna and fuse block.

PS, don't pay $120 on the OEM pigtail connector. Here's my solution to that...
