Default Need win 7 pro disc / iso (have my own legal key)

I lost my disc moving and my brother is out of town with my back up burn. does anyone have a disc and can make a ISO of it and upload to my ftp? needs to be pre sp1 i believe but if you have a sp1 copy i'm willing to try.

I ran into the same problem last year. My buddy and I torrented a copy, created a bootable disk, installed and validated it. Took the better part of an evening, but no problems.

downloaded 3 last night, all had no key bypass hacks. when i disabled the file the iso boots and 1/2 installs then says files are missing. if i let the no no key stuff run win 7 disables on the first few web updates and you can't add your key to fix it.

Try putting one of the ones you dl'd on a USB stick... lots of defective CD drives out there causing problems with win 7 installs...
Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org

I have access to a Windows 7 Professional ISO thanks to the Tarrant County College Microsoft program. How can I help you out?

Fortunately, Win 7 seems to be SKU agnostic... So you can install with *most* media and it will become the right version when you input your key... or at least so I've found so far when accidentally installing a Dell OEM media to a non-Dell machine, etc...

i tried a home disc and a ult. disc with my pro key and both said wrong sku. in the xp days your key would only work with disc from a set print group.

^From when I reloaded last that is correct, an Ultimate disk will not let you install a copy of Professional. This is why we had to torrent it and go that route.

Apparently the files for all three versions exist on each disk, but there's a text or ini file somewhere that tells the disk it what version to install. You have to rip the files, change this file to say whatever version you want to install, then make a bootable disk. Not exactly sure on the process, we abandoned it halfway through and went with utorrent. This exact information should be easy to find online though.
