    Default New PR for me today at ECR

    I went from a 2:06.3 to a 2:04.8. As you can see from the video there's still time I'm leaving on the track.

    Changes I made to the car from last time are: 6 spd with 3.63 rear end gears, went from 205s on 7.5" rims to 225s on 9" rims. Went back to a stock rear bar.

    Changes I've made to the driver are: spent a lot of time racing the MX5 Cup Car in iRacing. I was much more comfortabe sliding the car today than in the past. I was able to "catch" the car much quicker and I think it's from being able to practice without actual consequences.

    I had a couple of hiccups today as well. I had two plug wires come out of the coil during one session and my throttle cable popped out of the bracket twice. Had to be towed in both times.

    Still all in all a really fun day.

    Congrats on the 2:04! Huge difference from the 2:11s you have here.

    I was thinking about you today and wish I were there. My jury duty was dismissed but still couldn't find somebody to work for me today. Let me know next time you go and I'll chase you for two or three turns before losing sight of you.

    Nice. I am trying to get Maggie to open the short track for a day. The have for karts and bikes.
    M3 is always the answer.

    That'd be awesome. I've driven the cutoff config in rFactor and it's a lot of fun. Carrying big speed going into T9. I wish they'd mad the alt config like this.

    That's funny. I think they'd get more peeps out there if they ran a more brake friendly configuration form time to time. And it'd give the hp challenged a better chance.

    I have brakes for that track now.

    Congrats on the time, that's moving. I need to get ot there again, I've been working on fundamentals and brake pedal confidence.

    BTW, what are they "turning dirt" on?

    Idk what construction they have going on. There's always something in the works out there.

    Btw, thx for the help with the AN fitting for my oil cooler. It all worked great. No leaks!

    Did you get the TSE brakes on? Me want!!

    Any time. I don't have the brakes on yet, I have another set of rotors to burn up first. Then, I have the whole wheel-weight interference thing to deal with.

    Nails, wish you coulda swung it to have come out. Not to rub it in but it was near perfect track day weather.
