Frequently this is caused by your mail server attempting to block the sending person's mail server (as their server has been black or grey listed for spam).
You need to contact your mail server administrator and tell them that this is happening.
Can I get a translation on the following error:

Agreed, but seeing how the reporting mail transfer agent is bellnexxia.net, which is registered to Bell Canada, wouldn't that indicate that it being blocked there?
Does the vendor have this problem when sending to other companies or just yours?

FWIW, we're not having problems getting emails from Bell Canada/Aliant/and I *believe* some use the xxxnexxia.net email addresses (I personally don't deal with them, but that address looks very familiar).
And yes, I know that doesn't say anything but Bell Canada isn't down 100%. EDIT: We deal with Bell Canada themselves, not their customers (so not the vendor POS is having issues with).
I usually get an error message saying that we've been black listed for spam when that happens, so not too sure if that's the case here. But it's been forever since I've been on the tech side, so anyone would know better than I do at this point.
From my end the e-mails look like they make to Canada it's only when they try to reply or forward us quotes that we seem to have "issues".
I get the same thing from time to time when quoting customers (slightly different error message though), and it's always a Time Warner issue on our server's side (in Florida).
I just cleared my deleted folder this morning, but the error message I get when that happens is "yada yada temporarily unable to process yada yada" so it sounds close to what you're getting. It usually "clears itself" in an hour or so though, has never been more than a few emails.
Or there is the carrier pigeon option ...

So how do we figure out if it is him or me??
Send this link to the IT guy that most seems to know what s/he's doing? http://www.google.com/support/appsec...&answer=134416
The 451 error covers quite a bit, but at least someone would have a direction to go in.
