    Default Where to buy this?

    The rubber boot of the sliding pin of the front brake is torn. Does anyone know where I can get the replacement. Stopped by the stealer, they watn me to buy the part of the brake assembly!

    This is what the stealer try to sell me. You know I am too TCB to even spend $43 on a rubber boot!

    I looked up a 99 Miata.

    If you find just the boot be sure to post it here. I have a torn boot on mine and I looked all over for just the boot, but life got in the way a couple years ago and I gave up looking. I keep the pin lubed, but i'd like to fix it right.

    TDR has brake rebuild kits that come with them and they are cheap as it's not a mazda parts kit.

    Hit up a Napa.

    83359A Disc Brake Hardware Kit. $17.29 Rubber boots, pad clips and springs and some lubricating goo. One kit does the whole front end.

    (If I'm reading the correct receipt.)
