The rubber boot of the sliding pin of the front brake is torn. Does anyone know where I can get the replacement. Stopped by the stealer, they watn me to buy the part of the brake assembly!

If you find just the boot be sure to post it here. I have a torn boot on mine and I looked all over for just the boot, but life got in the way a couple years ago and I gave up looking. I keep the pin lubed, but i'd like to fix it right.

TDR has brake rebuild kits that come with them and they are cheap as it's not a mazda parts kit.

83359A Disc Brake Hardware Kit. $17.29 Rubber boots, pad clips and springs and some lubricating goo. One kit does the whole front end.

Yes, this is IT! This is a complete rubber boot brake kit. It has all the rubber parts. I only use the lower boot. This kit is a little over $6 and is good for both sides.
