If you're really anxious to get whipped in GT4, I'm sure bean or I could drop by and give you a beating. We did 2 laps on the 'Ring last night... Sadly, he beat me by 0.35 seconds...
Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org

Yeah... I know... I'm walking into onething territory... I seem to have forgotten my bi-focals!

No doubt... I am not doing terribly well so far. I've completed the first two licenses, and could only manage 1 gold medal. The rest were silvers, but I'd imagine that just isn't good enough to be competitive with you guys. BTW, are you using the PS2 controllers or a wheel?

I'm using the regular DualShock controller... the wheel I'm still getting used to...

Edit - Speaking of the wheel, sammm, it works beautifully with GT4! Although still strange to get used to..

I think Bean's on the wheel. I'm on a dual shock until I fork over the $$$ for one of the new DFPs. Our race was using dual-shocks, though.

I've started a thread for potential Xlink play here:

That is strange! I never had issues with it on GT3, but never got comfortable with it either and still prefer a 'normal' controller.

I suppose we should stop hijacking shrivel's Pancake thread, but...

While I'm faster with the controller, it doesn't feel like a racing simulator without the wheel... it just feels like a video game. I did try out the new wheel, and it feels real good. I might have a CB deal on my current Logitech wheel and pedals, so that I'll have some cash to offset the $149.00 price on that new wheel.
