Default Logitech G27 on sale at Newegg

If anyone is interested the Logitech G27 is on sale at newegg for $243.99 with free shipping. It's normally $299.99. I couldn't pass it up. I've been wanting a Fanatec GT3 RS v2, but this was too good of deal, especially when you add the Nixim brake pedal mod (link: http://www.nixim.com/cart/index.php?...od&productId=3)

Anyway, happy simracing! Can't wait to FINALLY have a stick shift to play with (that's what she said).

Wow, the price is now down to $234.99 (that' $65 off for you non-math majors). That's a pretty stellar deal for a G27... I wonder if a new model is on the horrizon...

It just went down another $30 with promo code EMCKBKH62 - good through 8/8. That brings it to $205 shipped! I think I'll have to pick one up for that price...

Well, I tried to place an order. It said it was in stock on the website, but I got an email saying it is out of stock and they canceled my order. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

I'm liking mine except for the brake pedal. It is so different from my DFGT that I'm struggling. I'm hoping the Nixim mod cures that...

I have an Andy Pastore load cell for mine. Not bad for the price. There are guys that make a whole pedal replacement kit for all three pedals. It runs about 150 though...

Nixim is supposed to get you the load cell feel. We will see...

There is also another company that makes a load cell fir about $80 shipped. I'll try that if the Nixim doesn't get it done.
