WTB: 99-00 longblock engine

I'm looking for a longblock for my 99 to replace the one which decided to "give it up catastophically" at Hallett last month. Anybody have anything?

An 03 isn't going to work in a 99 but that seems like a decent deal.

150k miles with no leak-down numbers? Bit of a risk. I think he just needs to rebuild his motor. It's more expensive but then you know what you got.

Besides, once you ship that used $800 motor you are even closer to rebuild price. The $800 motor might be a good deal locally especially if you had a NA and wanted the 99 intake and head but he already has these parts.

Thanks for the tip Doug. I should have updated my thread earlier. I'm currently going down the path of rebuilding my engine. Guess I can probably lock this thread up.

I'll lock it up, but would you start a rebuild thread soon? I might be heading down a similar path.
