In.
I am organizing another drive on this Sunday. The last one, a couple of weeks ago, had a nice turnout...6-7 cars. This time, instead of heading south towards Granbury we will be heading north towards Denton. The drive will offer spectacular photo ops as well as a chance to see miles of undisturbed countryside and the biggest wind turbine farm in the area. The weather should be perfect for top down driving.
The meeting place will be at:
Good Eats Grill
5812 N Interstate 35
Denton, Texas
76207
We plan to depart around 9:30am and will be stopping somewhere for lunch.
I don't anticipate the drive lasting to late into the afternoon, so expect to be back fairly early. If you feel like you may go, please add your user name to the list.If you've been on one of mine before, you know I don't dissappoint.
As I said on CR.
Good eats is closed now and they may have removed the sign, but the exit is 35 and Loop 288 by the "outlet mall".

Mr. Nails...
How does one get a bigger version of that picture in your profile pic?
There are more cars added to the list...including that of a Vantage and a BOSS Leguna Seca Mustang....
Bring your radios.

This is as big as the forum allows to attach. 640x480
Hope the Aston and Stang don't slow us down much.
Michael, looks like you're the only one from this forum. Im still going. Hope to see you there.
Now that it's 28 minutes until you leave can my wife and I come in our pajama's?
You're heading west for the wind turbines? YES! Lovely country!
Was a great run. Thanks MarbleGT. Pics and video coming soon.
Dang I missed out on this or I would have gone...I went by myself today and ended up at motorsports ranch watching everyone run...ohh well maybe next time
Motorsport Ranch is always a good "free" place to watch cars being ragged out.
We might go out that way for our next "tour."
Wow not one Miata..........................
Yea...not one.
There were three.
From what I've figured out over the years, there are 3 types of Miata drivers.
1) Those who put luggage racks on their weekender..and thats it. 50%
2) Auto-X Junkies 30%
3) ...and the ones that actually get out and drive them, whether it be on a track or a country road. 20%
Its very hard rallying up interest from the Miata folks do get together and be productive whereas with, say, an S2000 group or Exotic group, its a lot easier....same age range, just different minded.
These kind of things are the most fun anyway. If there we're 15 Miatas, there would be nothing to oggle at.

Love the NC with the bluish-silver stripes. Whose is it? That's the exact style of stripes that I want to eventually put on my NB.

FWIW - There were 12 Miatas at the PCA Time Trial at MSR Yesterday.Which must have cut into your Miata count.
