Justin was just telling me about the place he used for his GTR but I forget the name... hopefully he sees this and chimes in.
Anyone have a good reasonably priced clear bra installer for the east side of town (Plano, Frisco, Addison, Carrollton etc)?

Check with the Porsche or BMW dealer in that part of the metro mess, they should be able to point you in the right direrction.
I don't want to pay Porsche/BMW prices :) May attempt to buy the film online (precut) and try it myself.

I've heard good things about the precut. Lemme know if you go that route, I might be willing to join you and maybe we can team-up on the install.

The factory Lotus stuff is precut by a company called StarShield who just uses 3M material. There are some other 3rd party vendors with better materials that precut to the same factory Lotus shape. The materials are about $160. The local shop wants $400. I don't think it's $250 worth of labor...

It is worth the labor charge, I have worked lots of decals and films and on a compound surface like a bumper even a precut does not prepare you for the stretching, maybe heating, and maneuvering you may have to do. I tried once on a bike and gave up, trashing the kit.
The place I used was Speed Shield USA/ They were not the cheapest, but they did good work and they wrapped the entire bumper so you have no seams or edges. I had the front bumper, rockers, mirrors & A pilars done and I'm pretty happy with it. I know Earmark also in Addison also does this type of work so you can also check with them. I decided against the kits as I never saw one I thought looked good.
