Default Very impromptu - this Sunday (1/8/12)

This Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012. Meet at 2pm at the Sonic on W. California street in Gainesville, Texas. I will lead a 2 hourish cruise, well below 100mph, and end at The Center in Muenster for an early dinner.

If it's just my wife and I, that's OK. I love Paprika Schnitzel.

    1/2-German wifey would enjoy this.

Price range for food so I know what to expect? I see the menu, but it has no prices.

The last time I was there, the Paprika Schnitzel was about $10, and included an all you can eat salad bar with a chunk of cheddar cheese the size of an NA wheel.

We took our niece and her husband there after they returned from their stay at Ramstein. They though it was the most authentic German food they had had since back in the States.

Awesome! Thanks. Neither one of us has had good German food in a few years. We tried some place near San Antonio, but it was OK at best.

Hope we can make it out there to meet you and some others.

Yes, it's a go. And, yes, there will be windmills. We will not leave the Sonic at 2, just start gathering at 2pm.

Well I think we're out. I installed a dwell reducer last night and now the car backfires out the intake instead of starting. Seems I got an unused first run BDE piece that doesn't work. I got 200 miles on the COPS without the reducer last time but I'm not driving it again until I sort this out...mos likely just assembling an MS3 and calling it done. Was soooo close

An wifey was all about it too.

Since Nails was the only one that showed up and he had already done the loop I was planning, we went east rather than west. We took FM902 from Gainesville to Howe, US75 to FM1417 in Sherman, to TX11 north to FM697. Ran the 16 miles from Sherman to Whitewright and back to Sherman on FM697. We ended the cruise there. Ms. cone and I then headed north and Nails headed south. We ended up in Ardmore, OK before heading home. I just wish we had had a sunny day. But still a fun day.

Thanks for coming up to G'ville.
