Ya like daags??

Anyone want some animals?? Seriously my life is chaotic right now, I feel like a jerk but I desperately need to unload some animals. Forgive the rant, it got kinda long, skip to the last paragraph if you want some new friends.

Before we had kids, we had a small dog, dog was fine. My sweet sympathetic wife picked up an orphan runt kitten that needed a home, we gave him that home. A few months later my wife watched some asshole throw a 4 week old black puppy out of his truck window onto 183. The cute puppy grew into a big black lab, in all his back yard destroying glory, and the kitten grew into, well a typical cat.

Fast forward to two kids later...my wife's aunt passed away and in her will was a red-headed amazon parrot, yep a real parrot, willed to us. WTF, how does these things happen.

Let's have a roll call shall we.

1 4 month old sweet baby girl who has reflux, and is, rather challenging at times.

1 2 year old toddler, currently potty training and has gotten great at picking things out of the trash can and playing fetch with the black lab shape fetching machine, feeding his habit.

1 60ish lb black lab that incessantly craves attention that we can't give and digs holes out of frustration.

1 4 year old blue persian cat. After we had infants in cribs (cats and infants are a big no no), he has become an outside cat so he only comes in every now and then, but still makes the bathroom smell like 6 miles of skinned mule ass.

1 30lb mutt, he's a good dog and doesn't really bother us much, but sheds like you wouldn't believe.

1 30something year old parrot. They live till about 80 and you have no idea how annoying these creatures can be, when confined to indoors.

I spend days at work and nights at school and libraries, so between the crying/whining kids, and this damn swawking parrot, my wife is at her wits end, and our house looks like shit. Needless to say, we really need to downsize.

So cut to the chase. I have, free to a good home, the black lab, or the cat. I hate that it has to come to this, but we love animals, and the situation is making us hate animals. They're really not getting the attention they deserve, we are simply unable to provide any right now. Seriously if nobody here wants another companion they are probably going to a no kill shelter.

Rocket is a good dog, he is a little crazy in the head though. He gets along well with smaller dogs, large dogs hes a little iffy.

The cat is a typical cat, name's Enzo, so that's a cool point. Not declawed, gets along well outside, good mouser/squirreller, works well with dogs, my dogs anyway.

If anyone knows of good lab rescues in Tarrant County or cat shelters let me know. Seriously hate that it has to come to this.

Damn if I had a bigger car I'd totally take that lab. I've been wanting to get a buddy for my dog poe. But he barley fits in my Miata alone. Good luck man. Hope he finds a good home.

My wife has a friend thats maaaybe interested. I hope it works out because I really, really don't want to have to take him to a shelter.

He's kid friendly too, and comes with lasers installed.

We found a home for Rocket tonight. A friend of my wifes has a 7 year old that the dog fell in love with. Kinda sad though, but its much better for all of us, the kid was super excited. Its good theyll take him camping and stuff that I cant. I dont feel like an asshole now and I can get to work rebuilding my back yard.

Enzo the cat is still up for grabs though if anyones interested.

Thanks! Ive been bored since my cars been broke down and made a bunch of goofy videos. Been trying to find any way to put that $200 to use. Maybe ill start a thread when I,get a few good ones.
