Hi all,
I've been road racing for a bit over a year now with a 2012 Boss 302. I've hit MSR Cresson a few weeks ago and ECR a bunch of times in the Mustang. The cost of consumables and the fear of breaking the car coupled with a ride in a spec miata at MSR a few weeks ago led to me selling the Boss 302 and buying a tow vehicle and a miata. I have a 94 M miata tack car built by kieth verges that will be done in a few weeks. the car has a FM II turbo at 12psi, full cage, coil overs, and lots of other stuff. Sort of like a hopped up spec miata.
The car has a better power to weight ratio than the Boss 302 did when it was new and consumables are less than half the price. I can't wait to hit the track in it in a few weeks. i wasn't able to get decent pics of the car in the crowded garage, but you can get the idea. if i had speced the car new, i wouldn't have chosen the stripe color, but it works. the car is M green and what appears to be that miata blue color for the stripes.

Shane, nice track beast. Let me know when you take it out. Several turbo track Miatas here. Mr. BRG is a good source for info too.
M3 is always the answer.
Welcome to the madness Shane!

Looks like a fun car! Congrats! Look forward to seeing it in action. Maybe Ken can talk you into bringing it out to an autocross on time, just for shits and giggles.
BTW-it's not true that you need to let Ken keep his hand in your lap when he is instructing.
