Hot Rod Power Tour coming to QuikTrip Park friday.

The Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour final stop is in Grand Prairie this year. They will be arriving Friday 6/8 at QuikTrip park, over by Lone Star park. At least I think that's where it is. The official tour schedule lists QuikTrip Park in Arlington but it's actually located in Grand Prairie. I think they're confused with the Ballpark in Arlington where the tour began a few years back.

Anyhoo, there'll be throngs of cars along with autocrossing, burnout contests and dyno thrashing. See attached link for pdf schedule of events, but activities begin around noon and go on through out the day. I of course shall be blowing off work on Friday.
