My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

Where are the other S2000's?!?!?
I just noticed that there is an SCCA event the day after this one, so I guess that might have caused an outbreak of vaginitis that will reduce participation at this event. That would normally be good news, since it would be a short day (and possibly extra runs). However, I just installed some new coilovers (Ohlins DFV's), and am working on a detailed review of them on S2KI.com. I wanted to have a couple experienced S2000 owners that have other "good" coilovers do a couple runs in my car to provide feedback...
Didn't Ken O have an S2000 at some point? I see he's registered ...
I ran an S2000 in BS/AS for 4 years on Moton Club Sports. I am happy to help. But sorry, I will miss the BMW event. Flying back Saturday morning.
M3 is always the answer.
I'll be in the office Saturday. Feel free to come out to TMS Sunday and I'll be there.

Um, didn't you just post this in April?
Im glad things appear to be looking up for you. Still, not sure vaginitis has anything to do with choosing SCCA @ TMS over BMW @ MW. More likely, it's the higher level of competition. Come out and play with the big boys. That said, I think I'm done with autocrossing for a while. As I've done 2 times before (1995 and 2004), my enjoyment / cost ratio from autocrossing has dropped below the point where I can justify the cost of new tires. When I combine that with my likely homelessness from medically induced poverty, it's a lock. In our country, when someone in a middle class family gets sick, that family isn't going to be middle class any more.![]()

Ken, I would appreciate your feedback.
I was kidding about the vaginitis. I don't have any interest in SCCA events. I did my last SCCA event in '95, and doubt I'll ever do another. The higher level of competition doesn't make up for the lack of seat time IMHO. I also don't like the choices I would have to make with my car to make it competitive. My intake and exhaust would probably bump my car up to one of the Modified classes.
I did "quit" autocrossing due to financial issues, but I think those issues are resolved now.
In America, you quit Autocross. In Soviet Union, Autocross quits you.I did "quit" autocrossing due to financial issues, but I think those issues are resolved now.![]()
