I will more than likely drive out there to see how the events work seeing how my first autoX will be the 8/18 event at TMS. If i bring my helmet is there anyone who would allow me riding along after the races are finished? Gas moola of course lol

Also, as mark52 asked, will there be a sound meter? i would like to see how loud my mazda is when im there. Just to make sure that wont hold anything up for 8/18.

Anybody can ride along during the event. There will be sound meter. We will measure your sound for $25 which includes 4 free runs on course. Sign up on site at 8 AM. We have loaner helmets available.

If you decide not to drive the event, you're welcome to ride along. I drive a silver S2000 #177. Sign up and drive. Much more fun and there will probably be someone that can instruct. Alot of good people at autocrosses.

Just a friendly reminder. You cannot register for Rapide PAX (R) without first registering for the open class. You cannot run Tire class (T) if you are in a STR, STX, etc... class that requires street tires. I have already changed a half dozen of your entries to get you in the appropriate classes. I have put all of you in open class. If for some reason you would prefer to be in the Novice (N) class then you need to go back and edit your registration by using the pencil icon. If you delete (X icon) your registration then you are SOL. If you have problems then please PM me on this board or send an email to me at [email protected].

Fun day, considering the heat. Seems like the new grid location was good, and spectating was much better with the stadium, shade trees and tent in the same area.

Two STR drivers drove up from Austin and were impressed with the whole event and said it was definitely worth the 3 hour drive. Jason told me they would kill for a site like that in Austin! Always nice to remind us how good the autox scene is here, where this is just one of 5-6 good sites!
