Fun day and a good event. It was an interesting challenge going from the wide open and fast BMW course at MW on Saturday and come right back the next day to a short tight twisty course. I did better Saturday but drove OK today too. 2 weeks off for us all now.
Had a fun time today. I'll have to do more ER event in the future. Winning $10 isn't bad either!

Camera is the Freestyle HD I picked up from woot.com for $150. It comes with more accessories than the GoPro, and did a good job.
Data logging was done by the $10 Android app Trackmaster (http://trackmaster.trackaroo.com/welcome)
Overlay was the FREE Racerender app (http://www.racerender.com/RR2/Features.html)
I feel the Trackmaster should record more data points for autoX. It records in 1 sec increments, whereas every .25 or .5 would be better for AutoX.
That's what one gets for $10 apparently.
I'd like to get the Accel/Decel data to plot better than the G-force meter in the Racerender app, but am still learning.
can the trackmaster (or another app) be paired with a BT GPS puck to get the higher sampling rates? I have a 10hz G-Rays puck that I currently use with MaxQ, but that seems very good.

Trackmaster works with an OSTarz 818XT 10hz.

Dang.. wish I could have gone. Unfortunately my jeep broke Saturday out at bridgeport ohv and I spend too long Sunday trying to get it road worthy. By the time I stopped working on it it was too late for me to head past dallas. Glad to see everyone had fun. MS in a couple of weeks so ill see you guys there...

It really looked like a course that favored tight turning over HP, but he blew that idea out of the water!

I find that tight turns help high HP cars because the can make up for it on the exit. Everyone thinks that open courses favor HP, but I find that it not really true. I think a Miata is better on a course that allows them to carry speed and HP rules when you keep having to slow down.
Anyone seen any pictures from the event on the interwebs yet??
