    Default WTB Minivan

I think this would be the perfect vehicle for my Dad.

Less than $5k and dependable. I know this is a long shot on a Miata forum, but I thought I'd try.

He's currently pouring big bucks into a 20yo Caddy that is used up. He bought me several cars back in the day and it is now my turn.

I hear the Chryslers have transmission problems but I don't know much about any other makes. Anybody have any experience to share?

1999-2004 Honda Odyssey is the best you can buy, and in your price range. Avoid anything with a trailer hitch that looks like its been used for towing. They had some tranny issues on a few, but I think anything still on the road would have had that taken care of.

    Thanks OZMDd

No retalliation. Easy to get in and out for an old man with size 14 sneakers. Lots of room to haul all his junk. Room for his gf and kids.

He wants a 4 door Tundra, but so do I.
