Looks nice!
BUT....
Is that a set of duals in the middle of the bumper where a trailer hitch would go???

I can't imagine why anyone would expect to be able to use a Hemi powered Jeep for towing.Originally Posted by srivendel

I'd bet that load capacity is limited by the tire capacity or gearing on the SRT-8.Originally Posted by channelmaniac
The Grand Cherokee with the std hemi can tow up to 6500lbs according to the website.
Its still a JEEP
Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

Personally, I can't fathom the need for an SUV that can do 0-60mph in less than 5 seconds, especially if you have to give up half the available towing capacity to get the speed. Does this thing have a low-range? Will it be "Trail Rated"?

Fuel economy would be my big concern. People always justify buying an SUV because they're so "practical." 13 MPG isn't practical. And something tells me this thing doesn't run on 87 octane, either. $2.25/gallon at 13 MPG equals $0.173 per mile. That does tend to make the prospect of using one as a daily driver rather daunting.
So, if it's no longer practical to use the SUV as a daily driver. why not either (a) buy a sports car instead or (b) buy a practical daily driver like a Legacy Wagon or Accord Hybrid?
