    Lightbulb Words With Friends help

Hey guys... and gals. Sort of a silly thread but I figured what the hell maybe you can help. I have two friends of mine that keep kicking my ass in Words With Friends. I'm not particullarly interested in this game but I hatee losing at anything. Well, I guess two friends and a girlfriend that keep kicking my ass. I don't like cheating either but I could use a little help as to some webbsites or something that I could check with from time to time for word helps. They have more schooling than me at this point so I feel that it would be levelling the playing field. Any of you play this silly game and have some cheat sites you use? I don't have much time to go check the web when I'mm working or at school but can sneak on here and therre. Thanks!

First trick is to use all of the double and triple score opportunities, even if you have to use a short word. Second - and probably most important - don't take an easy score that sets up your opponent for an even better score. Third, save "s" to make their words plural (or pluralize your own play later) and hand onto "u"'s to go with "q." Other than that, read a thesaurus or practice making words from random letters (anagramming) to start seeing more options.

What OZMDD said. Plus, keep tapping "shuffle" until something pops into your mind. The game will only accept a word from its dictionary. I have tried to use words that I know are real English words, but they were not in the "Words With Friends" dictionary. English is a wonderful language, with probably six millions words, including technical terms. And, many of them have multiple meanings. Keep working, you will find a word. So just try a lot of letter combinations.

But, remember the first rule of vocabulary, Never us a big word if a diminutive one will suffice.

If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Are you sure they're not cheating? No sense in trying to beat them fairly if they're not playing fair.

    FFS.

Is there a global "Best of the Internets" site where we can submit this thread for "What's Wrong With America"?

Descrambler if you want to cheat, not much of a challenge though. I preferred to play without cheating but good to even the playing field if you're dealing with a cheater or a word wiz. Close games are much more interesting than blow-outs so if you use it, use it in moderation.
