Check out the Vintage Automobile Division, Richard "Jim" Hockert is there in his Austin Healey.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

I totally missed Jim in the results. That's one of the coolest cars around. I absolutely LOVE that he drives it in as many events as he does.

    Good luck to all.

For those who are unaware - Jeremy's car went off the course and rolled at the Pikes's Peak Hill Climb earlier today. From what we can gather, he has been taken by ambulance to the hospital, and his codriver airlifted out. It sounds serious, but not life-threatening at this point, I hope.

Schaadt's updated on FB says they are both ok, at the hospital, but coherent and answering questions correctly. Sounds like they got knocked around pretty badly, but are not severely injured. Good news.

Someone captured a video of their off. J-Fo and Yuri are lucky to be alive from the looks of this. Thank God neither sustained life-threatening injuries from what we are being told so far.

    Post from Facebook:
Thank you for all the support we have gotten from our friends and family. Jeremy and Yuri are both stable and under the best care Colorado Springs can provide! Jeremy got out of the car on his own power. Yuri hurt his shoulder, first diagnosis is a dislocation. The door ripped off the car and Yuri's arm came out, but he was able to pull it in before coming to a complete stop. Jeremy appears to be ok, and I'm talking with him now. Jeremy said he went into the corner maybe a little hot, but felt the car got loose and they couldn't correct. He thinks either the tires over heated or they hit a wet spot in the road. Jokes are flying here in the hospital and other then some bruises, they appear to be ok.

^Great news that they're both alright. That looked like it could have ended much worse..
