    I was actually passed on I35W yesterday by the "Police Demo Vehicle" Dodge is apparently showing & trying to sell to local PDs.

    It looked like something out of a Batman movie

    Long overdue. The Crown Vic dates back to 1989, and Tahoes/Dakotas are ridiculous substitutes for a police cruiser. I see Malibus and Intrepids -- but really, are those that much better?

    For that matter, I still don't understand why cop bikes tend to be overpriced H-D tractors or ancient KZ1000s. Anybody remember the movie "Strange Days" where the cops rode ZX-11 Ninjas?
