Not really, but damn close. I found a guy in houston that had 6 slightly bent SSRs that he didn't want anymore. I got 6 tires, 2 good T1-Ss and 2 ok T1-Ss for $200. My shop is owned by the same guy that owns wheels america. I got all 6 fixed for free last night and they should be going on the car tonight or tomorrow.
16x7 SSR Competitions with tires for $200. I am awesome.

Probably not just yet. I don't have a lot of faith in the SSRs on the street, but we'll see.Originally Posted by Treibenschnell

I have question for you. I have a tranny that has gotten a little cranky on going from second to third (cost me a top five up at Hallett two weeks ago and it was a teenage girl that got past me on the missed shift coming thru THE BITCH ((not her, the turn)). I have a friend of a friend that says he works on miata trannys for the guys who just ran the 25HR (Shane or Shon or something). Can he fix / smooth it out? I can get a low milage 99 tranny fairly cheap so dumping much money into this one might be dumb.

We have a guy that we've had rebuild trannies for the 25. He works for Hiley Mazda but does our stuff on the side. PM me if you want his #. We've also had good luck with some of the junkyard trannies we've got. How much can you get the 99 for?
