PCA Charity Autocross, 12/2, TMS Bus Lot

The Porsche Club of America (Maverick Region) is hosting a charity autocross at the Texas Motor Speedway Bus Lot on Sunday 12/2. The proceeds will benefit the Huffaker-Hughes Hope House (more info at http://mav.pca.org/about/charity.asp). All makes and models welcome.

Come out for a good time to support a good cause. There will be a lot of new people out there, so it would be a great time to try out autocrossing if you are new too.

    Sign up at http://clubregistration.net/index.cfm?pca.

Registered. Looking over some of the entrants, it should be interesting watching a '55 Bel-Air convertible out on the course

I think watching the Smart flip over will be even more fun.

A few course workers should be able to upright it and get it back on its way.

Maybe we should put training wheels on it before it runs?

I'm in too. The RX7 roadracer is ready to go and needs a shakeout to see what falls off or blows up

PCA has walk-up reg, but it is much easier on them if you pre-reg. If you are not sure, then you can pre-reg, but stop at the payment. That way, they at least have you in the system and can just take your money at the event.

The course. Tried to keep it somewhat simple since there will be a lot of newbies.

I'm originally from the DFW area. I have never been to Simpleton, much less born there.

I did that but I still show as pending, want to make sure I can still pay on site and not be turned away.

Since they allow on-site reg, they are not going to turn you away, anyway.
