I would like to see it, but back to work for me.
I'm going to approach the owner of Jack Junkies about hosting our Wed GTG at their shop. This would not only provide a new car-oriented venue, but would be indoors, give people the opportunity to work on their cars - or at least admire them on a lift - and I think BYOB and some Dominos can be arranged. If you would be willing to attend at least once to check it out, post on this thread.
Jack Junkies is located on Plano Pkwy just east of Ave K.

I think it is a great bad weather GTG spot. I probably won't make it this week since my kids are home.
1990 White NA - SOLD
1994 Black NA - SOLD
2006 Red NC - GT with limited slip, HIDs, all OEM.
OK, its official, the Wed GTG will be at Jack Junkies on Plano Pkwy this week! They have agreed to let us fill-up as many indoor spots as we can fit and overflow into the parking lot if needed. It will be BYOB, and they have a lounge area in addition to the work bay. Obviously, if you plan to do any work or tinkering while you are there, please plan to drink after you are finished. No drinking in the actual work bays. (There is a big open area between the bays that can be a socializing area.)
There are a lot of fast food places nearby, and I thought I might just order a pizza or two from Domino's and let people pitch-in a buck or two.
I plan to be there from 6-8:30, and the shop manager said he is cool with hanging around a little later if we have a crowd or people are using the equipment. I've got a lift bay reserved for us from 6-8, so you can pull your car up and see the underside if you haven't looked down there in a while (or ever.)
The more the merrier, and all are welcome, even people who drive BMW's. Grab a quality six-pack and come share it with a new friend or two!
