P.S. The research I've done seems to indicate that a Spec Miata might do somewhere in the neighborhood of 2:05 or 2:07. Can anyone confirm?
Anyone know who holds the track record for a Miata at ECR? What was the lap time? Is there video? I'm looking for a good video of a Miata doing a sub 2:10 on this track to make a Corvette owner shut up, lol.

Go to 11:37 of this video to see a low 2:09 done by a mostly stock Miata.
Go to this video to see a low 2:08 done by a Cosworth Supercharged Miata.
Go to this video to see a mid 2:02 done by a turbo Miata.
I don't know what the record is.
Hell, our Lemons Miata will get close to a 2:10...

Don't look...there's nothing down here for you!
I can give you a clip of me doing a 2:07.9 at the toy run in the black NC.

Point taken.
Here are the NASA TT records http://www.nasa-tt.com/Texas_Track_R...6_articleid/11
M3 is always the answer.
ken o has seven records on that list btw
Wow, I need to run TTE! I'd have to run smaller tires than my autox 255's and the stock airbox, but I think I could stay under the bump to TTD. I'm running 3 sec faster than the TTE record for ECR. tempting....
Anyone know where an STR NC would fall in the SCCA TT/club racing classing, roughly?

I ran a 59 and change in March at the Vette day at 260whp on new NT-01s. I'll never run that again since I have a poverty car now. I picked-up 3-seconds with no-limit baller braking.
Looking at the NASA record book makes me pissed, I could turn some competitive times in C or D. If I go junkyard motor, look out TTD.

They might just class you as a vintage Trans-Am if you put the superchicken back on.
