Default Chevy or Nissan Dealer Contact??

Anyone know anyone at a Chevrolet or Nissan Dealership that could help out my sister-in-law??

FWIW - She lives on the Eastside (Over by Northpark Mall).

Chevy dealer on Saturday tried to steal her trade-in so now she is far less trusting.

    TIA

From what I understand, the Chevy dealer out in Weatherford (Hudson Oaks) makes some pretty good deals. No idea if they trade any better. I'll sell it for her privately for a small fee. :)

Have her go thru Edmunds.com, email the local dealers for pricing and DO NOT give a valid phone number. Haggle via email...I've used that method the last few times and it makes the process much less painful!

I had her take the trade to CarMax on Saturday so she could get a worse case on what it was really worth. They made her an offer she couldn't refuse and she walked out with a check.

So we have already eliminated the Trade in issue and she now has some down payment $$$ that doesn't have to come out of her personal savings.

I don't know how car buying savy she is and I really want to limit my level of help just in case she buys a turd. But good advice!

I agree with sammm. If she knows what she wants, buy it online. Now if she wants to test drive, she just needs to find a good no-pressure salesperson.

As long as she doesn't buy the Chevy she should be ok.
